Norwegian startup, 1X Technologies, has announced that it has successfully raised $100 million in its series B round of funding. The funding came from a variety of prominent investors, including OpenAI and Samsung. EQT Ventures and Samsung NEXT were among the participants, along with Nistad group, Sandwater, and Skagerak Capital. The financial injection will be used to support the company’s existing enterprise customers and to bring its bipedal android, named “NEO,” to the market. The ultimate vision of the company is to have humanoid robots working alongside humans, addressing the growing demand for labor and benefiting society as a whole.
